FAQ
Common questions
Can’t find what you’re looking for? hei@natespickles.no.
- How does the subscription work?
- Pick buckets and a cadence (weekly / biweekly / monthly) at checkout. Each delivery generates a fresh net-30 invoice via Two — one credit check up front, no re-approving anything. Manage everything — skip, edit, pause, cancel — from your account page.
- What's the cutoff for changing my next delivery?
- 3 business days before delivery, at 17:00 Oslo time. For a Greater Oslo Tuesday delivery that’s Friday 17:00 the week before. Edits after the cutoff apply to the delivery after the next one — the imminent delivery is already in our kitchen. See the Subscription Terms for the full mechanics.
- Where do you deliver?
- Greater Oslo only, every Tuesday — free, one weekly run out of our kitchen. We’re not in Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger, or anywhere else yet. Tell us you want us and we’ll let you know when we expand.
- What payments do you accept?
- Invoice via Two on net-30 terms — Two does an instant KYC check at checkout and underwrites the credit. No cards. (We’re B2B-only now; if you’re a home cook looking for jars, email nathan@natespickles.no and Nate will sort you out by hand.)
- How spicy is Spicy Dill?
- Heat 3/3 — chile-forward, slow build, sour finish. Not novelty-hot. Designed to fight a smash burger and win.
- Can I get a sample before I buy in bulk?
- Yes — schedule a tasting. Nate stops by with samples (one classic, one with heat), you taste them on a burger, no commitment.
- My delivery was damaged / wrong / missing. What now?
- File a claim from your order page within 7 days of delivery — Nate responds within a business day with a refund, a replacement, or both. No runaround.
- How do I cancel a subscription?
- From your account → Subscriptions → pick the sub → Cancel. No fee, no minimum term. The next delivery still ships if it’s past cutoff (already brined).
- How long do the pickles last?
- Up to 40 days refrigerated, unopened. Once opened, finish within 2–3 weeks. The short shelf life isn’t a flaw — it’s the consequence of how we make them. Fresh, cold-pack, no preservatives beyond brine and time.
- I run a chain — different pricing?
- Yes. Use the wholesale inquiry form — we quote volume pricing for 200+ L/month, multi-location accounts, and standing-order rhythms across multiple kitchens.
- Who owns Nate's Pickles?
- Nate’s Pickles AS, a Norwegian company founded by Nathan Peterson (Minneapolis → Oslo). One product, one recipe, two heat levels.
